It’s a hoot // It’s an antique shop, art gallery, and vegan restaurant. From antiques to an affordable brunch buffet, our latest video offers a look inside The Zenith Cafe and the owl-themed bathroom.

Observatory Hill Haze // Our beer of the week is a collaboration effort between Bear Dog Bicycles and Allegheny City Brewing. Using local hops harvested in Observatory Hill, this IPA just entered the Allegheny City lineup. Also available in 4-packs of cans.

The most fashionable films // September 20-26 is the first-ever fashion film fest at Rowhouse Cinema in Lawrenceville. Style 412 is focused on elevating the local fashion scene and they plan to screen movies including “The True Cost,” “Halston,” “Clueless,” and “Zoolander.”

Head east for Craft Beer Week // Greensburg Craft Beer Week starts on Friday. There are nine days of events at breweries in and around Greensburg. Westmoreland County is just east of Pittsburgh and features lots of breweries. Check out our profile on Fury Brewing in North Huntington.

Fancy eats // Station in Bloomfield is accepting reservations for a five-course dinner (with wine pairings) that allows Chef Curtis Gamble to flex his culinary creativity.
