MAY DAY: This weekend is the annual Pittonkatonk celebration in Schenley Park. We’ve got the scoop on the psychedelic cumbia band Los Mirlos, who will be kicking off their first-ever U.S. tour and some of the partnerships that Pittonkatonk has forged with Pittsburgh community groups leading up the festival.

DRINK: The old Spaghetti Warehouse is now the CInderlands Warehouse. Take a tour of the massive buildout (Cinderlands Warehouse can seat ~300 people) and plan to spend part of your weekend on the second-floor patio of Pittsburgh’s newest brewery. Our pick: the unfiltered pilsner. Or, as they lovingly call it: Dad Beer.

MOTHER’S DAY: Did you forget about Mom? Not a problem. We’ve put together a list of all the Mother’s Day events. From beer tours to “momosas,” flower arranging, and a special Mother’s Day drag brunch.
