What to do in Pittsburgh this week

This Weekend: Daylight Saving Time, Dean Bog, Dessert for Dinner

Don’t forget about daylight saving time. We’ve also got a roundup of live music venues, breweries you can visit on Mondays and an under-the-radar speakeasy.

In like a lion.

This weekend marks the return of the annual Home & Garden Show at the Convention Center. We’ve got a first-timer’s guide ready to go. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we’re also recommending a cozy, Lawrenceville-based speakeasy that’s open every Friday and Saturday night. Let’s dig in.

⏰Don’t forget daylight saving time! You will lose an hour of sleep on Saturday night. [Did you know that back in 1918 it was a Pittsburgh councilman who helped to create daylight saving time? Learn more from Rick Sebak’s story for Pittsburgh Magazine.]
