Know before you go: Superior Motors
If you’re driving from the downtown area, allow yourself some time with parkway traffic and navigating through Rankin. Parking at Superior Motors is normally available in the outdoor lot; be mindful that depending on how things are set up for the anniversary party, space may be limited on the day of this event.
You can 100% catch the bus to Superior Motors; the 61A/61B lines drop off just a couple blocks from the restaurant.
The interior of Superior Motors has a beautiful bar and comfortable seating sections, along with clean restrooms and a nice view right into the kitchen area as well.
There is a rather stunning view of US Steel’s Edgar Thomson Works (a steel mill that is still in operation) directly across the street from Superior Motors.

Whether it's Braddock’s multiple layers of history or the atmosphere of a community that survived extinction, there's something about this town that has captivated us. – Recently, chef Kevin Sousa and his team at Superior Motors (located a few blocks from our taproom on Braddock Avenue) earned a spot on Food & Wine's Restaurants of the Year 2018 list. – The list features restaurants that not only excel in food and service, but have "delivered a rich portrait of the people who made them." The Superior Motors saga has been one hell of a portrait – they opened the doors in July 2017 and have realized many of the goals they set out to accomplish, including a culinary training program and blossoming farm ecosystem. – Kevin and his team have been yet another welcome addition to the ever-expanding group of people dedicated to making this town flourish yet again – and we couldn’t be happier to be their neighbors. – 📸: @justinmerriman / @eater #braddock #superiormotors #foodandwine #neighborhood #kickstarter
