**Presales have ended. Walkups are able to attend starting at noon when the brewery opens. Pittsburgh Sandwich Society will keep slinging breakfast until they run out or 2:00 pm, whichever happens first. Walkups pay full price. Cheers!**

Sunny Side Up is a recurring, pop-up brunch partnership between Very Local and Pittsburgh Sandwich Society.

We spent all summer outdoors, but we’re moving the party inside for winter. This month, we’re essentially taking this pop-up to another pop-up — we will be at the Hitchhiker Winter Pop-up in Allentown on Feb. 22. It’s a warm, wide-open warehouse space with lots of seating. Please note, this is a SATURDAY brunch.

Pre-sale tickets are required to attend. We will offer two seating times: 10 and 11 a.m. Walk-ups will only be served after the Hitchhiker Pop-Up opens to the public at noon, pending availability.

Your $12.50 pre-sale ticket gets you:

  • 1 menu item of your choice* (see below)
  • 1 beer from Hitchhiker (a nonalcoholic drink option also available)

*Gluten-free and vegetarian modifications are available upon request.

Chicken & Biscuit — Pickle Brined Fried Chicken | Hot Honey Butter | Dippy Egg | ButterMilk Biscuit

Solaz Breakfast Special Burrito— Eggs | Monterey Jack Cheese | Cream Cheese | Parma Breakfast Sausage | Home Fries | Salsa Roja

Ol’ Doughnut Brunch Burger— 1/4 lb Smashed Beef Patty | Fried Egg | Cheddar Cheese | Just Good Doughnut

Additional food and drinks are available for purchase. Remember to bring your ID if you plan on drinking.

Why pre-sale tickets?

We need to accurately prepare for the available seating indoors. Purchasing a ticket in advance also helps Pittsburgh Sandwich Society accurately order and prep food, since brunch is not on the regular menu.

Don’t get left out in the cold. Yes, prices have increased for 2020, but if you purchase a pre-sale ticket, you still save a few bucks.

Party time, egg-cellent!

Sunny Side Up Brunch: Saturday, February 22 // 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stephanie has been organizing events since 1998, starting with a series of motorcycle rides through the Arizona desert to support her father’s business. She’s probably crossed your name off a presale ticket list or served you a beer somewhere around town. An undergrad degree in poetry means she has lots of unpractical knowledge about iambic pentameter, while a brief stint as a copy editor for Alternative Press taught her that twenty one pilots is stylized in all lowercase letters. Wanna throw a party in a vacant parking lot? She’s interested. At the onset of COVID-19, Stephanie took on the role of podcast producer for The Slaw. She’s pretty familiar with a microphone, thanks to that aforementioned poetry degree, and she’s got the wherewithal to ask Epicast Studios for help. She listens to too many true crime podcasts, and currently records from her bedroom. If you know of someone who would be the perfect podcast guest, send her an email.
