Mollie Landman-Hunker met Brady Hunker in seventh grade at the Mount Pleasant Area Junior High School. They became close friends and started dating in high school. In 2016, Brady was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
In 2019, the couple decided to get married and launched a GoFundMe page to help pay for their wedding. WTAE’s David Kaplan caught up with the couple to learn more about their GoFundMe campaign in 2019.
Mollie and Brady were married in July 2019. In the fall, Brady learned that the cancer had spread to his brain. Brady died on Nov. 25, 2019.
