Everyone knows about Light Up Night, you have probably already been to see the tree on the Highmark building and skated a few laps around the rink at PPG. For those of you looking for more Christmas fun, here are 12 more ways to celebrate the holiday season in Pittsburgh this year.

12/6 – 12/22

Midnight Radio’s Die Hard N’at

The Midnight Radio series is in the style of a 1940s radio broadcast.  The theme for this holiday season is Die Hard N’at. Tickets: $25-$35, the  December 15th show is pay what you want pricing. Decorations & Libations: Make Your Own Ornaments

7 – 10 PM @ Union Project The Union Project opens up their ceramic studio for a beginner friendly holiday party. Spend the evening making your own holiday decor while sipping some adult beverages. Tickets: $45 per person or $75 per pair. Facebook Event

It’s a Wonderful Speakeasy: Holiday Punch Demo

2 – 3 PM @ Boyd & Blair Distillery  Holiday parties call for a whole punchbowl of merriment. The Master Distiller will teach you the secrets of punch making in the speakeasy at Boyd & Blair Vodka. Learn to Solder a LED Christmas Tree Class

1:00 – 5:00 PM @ HackPGH Move over Clark Griswold. Head over to HackPGH’s maker space for a beginner level soldering class. Each participant will learn some basic soldering skills and make an LED Christmas tree to take home. Kids 10 and up are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Beer + Yoga: Winter Warmer

11 AM – 12:30 PM @ Brew Gentleman  A special holiday edition of the monthly beer & yoga series at the Brew Gentleman brewery in Braddock. For $10 you get a 90 minute yoga class, a 60 oz beer and a break from the holiday hustle and bustle. We are loving the suggested dress code for this class… “Holiday sweaters are not required, but you are always encouraged to show up how you are; so if the holiday sweater party goes a little late Saturday night, feel free to show up still rocking that sweater Sunday morning.” Tickets: $10 Facebook Event

Cardigan Party to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood
