Chatting with Local Artist Oreen Cohen on The Slaw

We’re continuing to spotlight Pittsburgh makers on our podcast, “The Slaw: Staying on Top of Pittsburgh.” This week, we chat with artist Oreen Cohen about large-scale metal sculptures and working in all types of different mediums.

Cohen exudes a sense of place and storytelling in her various pieces of work, which includes some stunning public art sculptures. Her recent installation at Wightman Park in Squirrel Hill was a collaborative effort with the community and with her business partner, Alison Zapata.
