Summer is in full swing and this is the best time to step out and explore the city. Here are 31 ways to spend a summer day in Pittsburgh. 

Monday // July 1

11:30 – 1 & 4 -6 pm – Love Pgh Music Month Kick-Off!

July is the first ever Love PGH Music month. Stop by the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council office to pick up some Love PGH Music swag.

Tuesday // July 2

7 pm – Brewz Cruise @ East End Brewing

Slow rolling bike ride with the folks from Trek Shadyside.

Wednesday // July 3

5:30 pm – Yoga in the Square @ Market Square

Free yoga class every Wednesday at 5:30. The class is free, but you must BYOM (bring your own yoga mat). Need more outdoor Om? Check out our guide to all of the outdoor yoga classes in Pittsburgh.

Monthly flea market and craft fair in the Strip District.

Monday // July 15

8 am – Clutter for a Cause Oakland Collection

Donate unwanted clothing and household items and this Pitt organization will help them find a new home.

Tuesday // July 16 

7 pm – Brewz Cruise @ East End Brewing

Slow rolling bike ride with the folks from Trek Shadyside.

Wednesday // July 17

5:30 pm – Green Drinks with Involvemint @  Wolfies Pub

Thursday // July 18

6 pm – WMNBikePGH Monthly Ride

A no-drop 10-mile bike ride around Pittsburgh with BikePGH’s Women and Non-Binary Program

Friday // July 19

5 pm – Summer Fridays @ The Frick

The Tuesday Night Big Band will perform swing music.

Saturday // July 20

All weekend – Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix @ Schenley Park

Free to watch! This is one of the only automobile races that takes place on city streets in the country.

Sunday // July 21

11:30 am – 4 pm – Northside Brewery Bike Crawl @ Bear Dog Bicycles

Let’s explore the neigh-beer-hood. We’re hosting a Christmas themed bike crawl! Tickets are just $20 and include 5 stops with beer drinking.

Celebrate all of the Food Rescue Heros and sample some of the 412 Kvass, a beer brewed with rescued bread.
