Seven Pittsburgh Breweries with craft seltzer

ABV is our weekly series that highlights a different beer from a local Pittsburgh brewery every week. Check out our past picks here.

Although I love drinking beer and writing about it, this week’s edition of ABV takes a slight deviation from our regularly scheduled programming.

About a year ago – in the Before Times™ – we saw the rise of craft seltzer and the ways seltzer intersected with the brewing community. Pittsburgh-based breweries – including Mindful Brewing, Couch Brewery and others – began to dabble in the seltzer space.

Best part of all, our gluten-free friends could hit the brewery and ACTUALLY drink something manufactured on-site that wasn’t a cider, mead, wine or cocktail.

And that brings us to today – a fun look at another fun drink. Here are seven Pittsburgh-area breweries where you can try a locally made craft seltzer.

In 2012, Aadam moved to Pittsburgh. He's currently parked (sans chair) in Lawrenceville and plans to stay a while. On the weekends, you'll find him driving a small green bus (Porter Tours) as he leads tours at local breweries. Got a fun story idea? DMs are open: @asoorma.
