Thu, June 11 // A very Pittsburgh virtual happy hour for beer fans

Alongside seven local breweries, the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild has organized a Zoom call for folks eager to hear from their favorite breweries. Here’s how you can register and join.

ABV is our weekly series that highlights a different beer from a local Pittsburgh brewery every week. Check out our past picks here

Editor’s Note: Our digital curator Aadam Soorma will guest host the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild’s virtual happy hour. He is an enthusiastic fan of local beer and contributes weekly beer content as part of his role at Very Local. He is not an official representative of the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild.

As bars and restaurants in Allegheny County navigate the green phase of safely re-opening, the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild plans to lead a conversation about what the future looks like for folks eager to visit a brewery.

Join the (Virtual) Beer Conversation

On Thursday evening, you can be part of the beer conversation. Alongside reps from seven local breweries, the Pittsburgh Brewers Guild invites beer fans to join them for an interactive, roundtable chat. This is the Brewers Guild’s inaugural virtual happy hour event.

‘What’s Next for Pittsburgh-area Breweries’ is a free, online Zoom call that’s open to the first 100 people who register through the webinar link. Attendees are encouraged to join this “virtual cheers” with a beer of their choice and prepare questions they might have for the breweries.
