Thur. 3/12, 9:30 pm – UPDATE ON VERY LOCAL PITTSBURGH EVENTS
We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Pittsburgh. We have made the tough decision to cancel our events for Saturday 3/14 and Sunday 3/15.
If you have purchased tickets for Pi(e) Squared on Saturday or Sunny Side Up Brunch on Sunday we will be issuing refunds through Eventbrite. We will continue to monitor the situation locally and nationally as we make decisions about future events beyond this weekend. Our intent is to reschedule these events for the future, as the situation permits.
If you have any questions about our events – please contact us. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We’ve put together a guide on who to follow for Pittsburgh specific coronavirus updates.
Pi(e) Squared is back (is that Pie Squared 2?) Join us Saturday, March 14th from 4 pm to 6 pm and celebrate everyone’s favorite nationally recognized math/pie mashup — Pi Day.
Tickets for Pi(e) Squared are available here.
We have arranged some sweet, $3.14 deals.
Piebird will be slinging their signature square slices of pie. Flavors to be determined. Get a slice for $3.14 (plus you can preorder more slices at $6 if you are afraid you won’t be able to decide, or if you want to take some home).
Roundabout Brewery will be on-site pouring beers, and your first one is that same, low, $3.14 price.
While PI is an irrational number with decimals that go on seemingly forever, this PIE deal does not. We’re not mathematicians, but we’ve calculated that this is almost half off regular prices. Tickets are required to get special pricing; limited availability.

Totally enthusiastic about PIE, but does the mention of “PI” have you recollecting the failing grade you received in middle school math class? Don’t worry, we’ve got a special guest coming to explain “Pi in Five” — a crash course in all things pi.
We will be popping up right down the street from Piebird’s Lawrenceville commissary kitchen. Meet us at 5310 Butler St., which, yes, was the former home of Full Pint’s Wild Side Pub.
Founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, Pi Day is a nationally recognized, annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. March 14 (3/14) represents the first three digits of pi and is also, coincidentally, Albert Einstein’s birthday.
