Nisha Blackwell, Founder and CEO of Knotzland Bowties, is currently being featured on an ad campaign called YouTube Stories. She is a Pittsburgh native with deep ties to Homewood. Her company, Knotzland, makes and sells sustainably manufactured bowties out of a recently opened storefront.
By using repurposed and reclaimed materials, Knotzland is deeply committed to the environment and to creating opportunities for women in the local community. Also, her bowties are snazzy and super stylish.
The YouTube Stories campaign shares real stories of entrepreneurs and makers who learned their skills – at least partly – by following tutorial style videos available on YouTube.
In September 2019, Nisha successfully launched her brick and mortar showroom and storefront. The Knotzland Bespoke Bowtie Studio | Showroom is located at 303 South Trenton Ave in Wilkinsburg.
