“My name is Nisha Blackwell. I’ve lived in the Homewood part of Pittsburgh my entire life.”

Get through the opening seconds of this video and you’re hooked.

Nisha Blackwell, Founder and CEO of Knotzland Bowties, is currently being featured on an ad campaign called YouTube Stories. She is a Pittsburgh native with deep ties to Homewood. Her company, Knotzland, makes and sells sustainably manufactured bowties out of a recently opened storefront.

By using repurposed and reclaimed materials, Knotzland is deeply committed to the environment and to creating opportunities for women in the local community. Also, her bowties are snazzy and super stylish.
