A fan of the Fords? Here are all of Leanne Ford’s favorite Pittsburgh shop for new and antique home decor

With Instagram, Pinterest, and HGTV, we see amazing homes with perfect kitchens and incredible decor that seem impossible to attain. However, if you’re in the Pittsburgh area, you’re in luck. On her show, Restored by the Fords, Pittsburgh Interior designer Leanne Ford focuses on older, imperfect and quirky houses in Pittsburgh and turns them into places owners are proud to call home.

On each episode of her show, viewers are taken through the renovation process from demolition to staging the home. Not only are the finished remodels amazing, they are extra special because they are filled with finds from local Pittsburgh businesses.

We’ve watched the episodes and pulled together a list of some of the Ford’s favorite spots in Pittsburgh for art, furniture and more.

1. Hot Haute Hot // Strip District

You will find amazing vintage furniture pieces throughout the homes Leanne designs from Pittsburgh’s very own Hot Haute Hot. Located in the Strip, Hot Haute Hot has everything from pillows and decor for your mantle to antique tables and dressers. This shop is sure to have something to make your house feel like a home.

2. Oatmeal Shop // Online

Beautiful stone pieces from Oatmeal can be found sprinkled throughout Leanne’s homes as she stages them. Oatmeal’s studio is located in Pittsburgh where the artist focuses on stone sculptural shapes and vessels. Contact this local artist or shop her amazing pieces online.

3. Sapling Press // Online & Local Shops

As Leanne puts the final touches on the homes she remodels, she thoughtfully decorates them to meet the needs of her clients while also staying true to her design style. Prints from Pittsburgh’s own Sapling Press can be found throughout the homes that the Fords remodel. Sapling Press, located on Friendship Ave, has treasures for your home from mugs and prints to magnets and tea towels.

4. Construction Junction // Point Breeze

Leanne and Steve have thrilled their clients with treasures found at Construction Junction. Construction Junction, located on the east side of Pittsburgh is a donation-based shop filled with all kinds of furniture and home finds for one to thrift. Leanne and Steve find the perfect pieces at Construction Junction to complete their homes from old doors to tables. Their inventory is always changing, making every visit new and exciting. 5. Kinsey Vintage market // Oakdale

The Kinsey Vintage Market is an event-based market shop in Oakdale where over 50 different artists and small businesses in the greater Pittsburgh area sell all things unique, antique, and vintage. Leanne has found some amazing pieces at the market that she has brought into the homes of her clients to add the perfect touch. Check out their website for upcoming events and markets.

6. Farmhowz // Gibsonia

The Fords have found some amazing one-of-a-kind vintage finds at Farmhowz, located in Gibsonia. Farmhowz specializes in antique statement pieces.The owners of the business are Pittsburgh natives who love the black and gold! With new arrivals every week, Farmhowz is sure to have a special treasure that will make a statement in your home.

7. Anthropologie Outlet // Mt. Nebo Pointe North Hills

From velvet sofas and chairs to statement coffee tables and armoires, unique styles from Anthropologie are found all throughout the designs of Leanne. Find some of these pieces at the Anthropologie Outlet located in the North Hills. The Fords love to add statement pieces through different textures and colors, and the ever changing selection at the Anthropologie Outlet does not disappoint.

Leanne Ford has found some amazing pieces from Bass & Bennett that complete her designs.
