It’s Turkey Lurkey Time! Where to buy a fresh turkey in Pittsburgh

Yes, you can buy a bird that was raised near the ‘Burgh

Turkeys aren’t the most majestic bird. But compared to ravens and eagles (which we can’t support for sports-related reasons), turkeys represent all that is good about the spirit of Pittsburgh. They will fight you. They can run and fly very fast, just like our own local athletes. They are resilient. They also, unfortunately, happen to be very tasty, with 46 million turkeys eaten on Thanksgiving alone.

Whether you’re celebrating with your quarantine pod, your family or eating alone, we found where you can pick up a local turkey in time for Thanksgiving.
