Explore the Neigh-Beer-Hood on a Very Local Bicycle Tour

On Sunday, July 21, we celebrate Christmas in July with a festive, themed brewery bike tour of the Northside led by Bear Dog Bicycles

This social, low-key ride covers a short distance and includes trail ride time, some use of protected bike lanes and some street riding. Get in the spirit by decking out your bike in holiday decorations. Lights, ornaments, garland, wreaths, Santa hats and ugly sweaters are all encouraged.

We don’t discriminate; Hanukkah decorations are encouraged, too. Best bike (both Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice) wins a gift package that includes a bike tune-up.

Let’s explore the neigh-beer-hood

We kick things off at 412 Brewery, then ride to the Roundabout Brewery pop-up, Penn Brewery, Allegheny City Brewing, and War Streets Brewing.

Your ticket cost includes a small pour to get your day started at 412 Brewery, a handpie from Prohibition Pastries for breakfast and a full pour of your choice from all four remaining stops on the tour.

Additional food is available for purchase at most stops, and there’s a full menu for refueling at War Streets Brewing/Bier’s Pub at the conclusion of the ride.

Check in at Bear Dog Bicycles by 11:30 am, then head around the corner to 412 Brewery. We will be leaving 412 Brewery promptly at noon.

Must be 21 to participate. Please bring ID.

Stephanie has been organizing events since 1998, starting with a series of motorcycle rides through the Arizona desert to support her father’s business. She’s probably crossed your name off a presale ticket list or served you a beer somewhere around town. An undergrad degree in poetry means she has lots of unpractical knowledge about iambic pentameter, while a brief stint as a copy editor for Alternative Press taught her that twenty one pilots is stylized in all lowercase letters. Wanna throw a party in a vacant parking lot? She’s interested. At the onset of COVID-19, Stephanie took on the role of podcast producer for The Slaw. She’s pretty familiar with a microphone, thanks to that aforementioned poetry degree, and she’s got the wherewithal to ask Epicast Studios for help. She listens to too many true crime podcasts, and currently records from her bedroom. If you know of someone who would be the perfect podcast guest, send her an email.
